Inspired by Wilfred Owen's poem Anthem for Doomed Youth
Today’s
youth is quite different
Not the worst generation
But not
quite diligent
We’re left
on our own, a weird sensation
In this
broken, destroyed world.
The planet
is falling
At an
alarming rate
What do you
feel?
Melancholy,
perhaps guilt
None of that
helps, we need action
But we’re
homebound
Quite unlike
1914.
