I jumped...
Splash! then I sunk.
The first sink is a shock to the body
There was light again and air
Splash splosh there were others
I saw a plank of wood floating by
I jumped on it and whizzed along
It wibbled and wobbled
My heart was shaking like an ivy leaf!
I fell into a portal to another universe...
the sea.
I swam to the shore
the ocean's arms were reaching out to me and I touched the shore.
I was safe … I was free... I was powerful.
